Jesus' General: Shades of terror
Wolf Blitzer
CNN

Dear Mr. Blitzer,

Yesterday, you and CNN were all over the story about the conviction of Khalid Ouazzani, an American citizen who donated money to Al Qaeda. While watching, it occurred to me that you do an excellent job of defining what is terrorism and what isn't. Here was a brown guy, a Muslim, who donated $23,000 to Al Qaeda for use overseas. Obviously, he's a terrorist, and you took care to make that clear throughout your broadcast.

There was also a sentancing yesterday you didn't mention. The guilty man's name is Pastor Robert Joos. He's guilty, along with two others, of sending a mail bomb to The Scottsdale City Diversity Office. It was opened by the diversity officer, Don Logan, who sustained major injuries from the explosion. Additionally, one of Joos's congregants, Timothy Coombs, is wanted for the sniper slaying of the officer who arrested Joos--Coombs shot him, pro-life style, through the policeman's kitchen window while he was making a dish of ice cream.

You didn't report that, yesterday. Indeed, you and CNN haven't reported on Joos or his cohorts at any time. And that's why it struck me that you have a keen eye for spotting who qualifies as a terrorist and who doesn't. Khalid Ouazzani, who's swarthy and Muslim, is a terrorist. Pastor Joos, who's blonde, white, and Christian, isn't.

Is that how it works?

Heterosexually yours,

Gen. JC Christian, patriot

1. It isn't just about race. Right-wing bombers, even those who blow up airliners, are allowed
to walk free. Remember this guy, Orlando Bosch (L) and the other guy, Luis Posada Carriles (R)? They blew up a Cubana Air flight with 74 people aboard over Barbados on October 6, 1976 (in the last days of the G.H.W. Bush's tenure as CIA Chief). Guess where they are today? Living las vidas buenas in Miami Beach. See, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cubana_Flight_455 - Cached

CIA documents released in 2005 indicate that the agency "had concrete advance intelligence, as early as June 1976, on plans by Cuban exile terrorist groups to bomb a Cubana airliner." Former CIA operative Posada Carriles denies involvement but provides many details of the incident in his book "Caminos del Guerrero" (Way of the Warrior),<1><2>

Four men were arrested in connection with the bombing and a trial was held in Venezuela: Freddy Lugo and Hernan Ricardo Lozano were sentenced to 20-year prison terms; Orlando Bosch was acquitted because of technical defects in the prosecution evidence, and now lives in Miami, Florida; and Luis Posada Carriles was held for eight years while awaiting a final sentence, but eventually fled. He later entered the United States, where he was held on charges of entering the country illegally but released on April 19, 2007.
