Why aren't the tea partiers in the water?
Edited on Thu May-20-10 08:41 AM by CoffeeCat
If there was EVER an event, which so succinctly demonstrated that the corporations are
in control of our government, it is the BP oil spill.

The Coast Guard is taking orders from BP-- and is threatening arrest to American media
members who try to take pictures of the oil on public beaches.

Clearly, this isn't how our government is supposed to work, according to the
U.S. Constitution--a document that tea partiers love to wave around.

If ever there was an opportunity for a tea party rally, this is it. Get those
boats in the water, dump some tea and protest the corporate takeover and control
of the U.S. government.

Where are those boats? Where are the tea partiers? Where is Sarah Palin--and her
cries for freedom and liberty?

Clearly, we are not free. We are watching BP enjoy unlimited power--and the use
of our Coast Guard--all of which were obtained through bribes and payoffs (in the
form of campaign contributions).

This has to be the most egregious examples of Fascism and corruption in American
history, so I ask again...

...where are the tea partiers and why aren't they in the water right now, protesting
this blatant slap in the face to our democracy and our Constitution?

2. That's undocumented oil...
...and more reason to seal our borders.

They'll probably use the oil spill to call for more Arizona-like immigration laws.

5. Same reason they weren't in Vietnam or any place else where they'd be in harm's way.
They are, at heart and in person, cowards.
