Her parents, who most likely saw her as second class because she was a woman, failed her.

Schools, who also didn't think it important that she know anything because she was a woman, failed her.

I will show this picture to my daughter telling her how lucky she is that we care that she gets a good education. She is having trouble understanding the whole education thing right now.

9. I am willing to cut this lady a little slack...
But, just a little.

I doubt that she even made the sign herself, given how frail she appears. Chances are she's not even able to read it, let alone print it. I'm guessing one of her intelligent caretakers handed it to her as she sat in the wheelchair.

I'm not saying she doesn't know what her sign reads (or is supposed to read), just that she didn't come up with it herself.
