SNIP: In an exploration plan and environmental impact analysis filed with the federal government in February 2009, BP said it had the capability to handle a "worst-case scenario" at the site, which the document described as a leak of 162,000 barrels per day from an uncontrolled blowout -- 6.8 million gallons each day.

With their sippy straw. Gee, wasn't that their second estimate of how much was leaking after they tried to maintain that it was 1,000 barrels a day for a week? And looking at the live feed on the House web site, whatever they are getting up that straw is about as impressive as a drop in a bucket compared to what is still coming out.
