What Dems Don't Want Mentioned in the Rand Paul/Civil Rights Debate
Article written by David Sirota
Huffington Post

Obviously, I agree with all of today's criticism of Rand Paul about his extremist position on the Civil Rights Act. However, let's be very clear here: Many Democrats (and, of course, most Republicans) support our system of laws that lets employers and private businesses discriminate against employees and customers for all sorts of other, non-racial reasons

2. I tried to read your article but got a POP UP about earning "HUFFPO BADGES"!
Has HuffPo turned into a Tween Site?

Rand Paul deserves every bit of scrutiny he gets.

3. But if we can stop the slime from helping to enact even more discriminatory law, especially
when he clearly favors it, shouldn't we?

And I can do two things (actually LOTS more, I'm a paralegal) at the same time.

4. You sound as if you want government intrusion into all aspects of business.

 Business owners should have the right to decide how their employees will dress and maintain appearance. They should have the right to refuse service for a various number of reasons such as no shoes or no shirts or ?????. Government can not butt it's nose into every aspect of business however when it involves actual "Civil Rights" they damn well better protect citizens..
