Focus On Latinos: Fox News Launching Website Aimed At Hispanic Market

Last year Fox News expanded its web properties with FoxNation.com, a community/opinion site.

This year, the network is adding a new site aimed at one particular, and very relevant, demographic - FoxNewsLatino.com is coming.

“About a third of the country is going to be of Latino heritage by 2050 and we thought it was time to launch a site with more of a focus,” said Michael Clemente, Fox News’ senior vice president of news editorial. <Reuters>

One immediate follow-up question might be – what do people like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck think of this? “I don’t think there’ll be conflict,” said Clemente. “We will do what we always do on the news side which is to be very fair and balanced on all sides of the issue in our reporting.”
