Federal Judge Dresses Down O'Keefe, But Lets Him Avoid Trial for Tampering with Senator's Phone
Republican dirty trickster to escape personal accountability...

A federal judge gave a stern talking to this morning to the Rightwing dirty trickster James O'Keefe III and his three fellow conspirators --- one of whom is the son of the Acting U.S. Attorney in Louisiana --- for their attempt to access the telephone system of Democratic U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu in her New Orleans office, by impersonating phone company employees.

While describing the Republican activists' actions as "unconscionable" and "extremely serious", Judge Stanwood Duval Jr. stopped short of ordering a trial for the man who didn't dress as, or represent himself as a pimp while secretly video-taping ACORN employees last year…

2. This was a foregone conclusion.

This kid will never have to answer for anything he does. He knows people, and laws are just for those of us who don't.

Edit: Honestly...I'm surprised the Judge didn't apologize to him.

6. Typical RepubliCON behavior,
Treat wire tapping and political espionage like a simple frat prank.

Just like the frat boy prez that allowed the worst attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor, lost 2 wars for oil with lies, condoned torture of POWs, destroyed the economy and never won a presidential election fairly. Our frat prez didn't even have to go before a judge.

The laws are made for the rest of us. Stupid Republcons are special.

7. You've been a very naughty boy,
now don't do it again. I guess that's not quite as heinous a crime as packing a few buds of herb, in which case it's off to the slammer.

11. Thank you very much, may we have another.
This is our administration now, and they are doing this for us, I'm quite sure, and that's why I will always support them, because they do so much in my best interest, otherwise I would look pretty foolish, wouldn't I, like one of those teabaggers who can't write a clear sentence.

12. Not sure how much of that story is true.
But there needs to be justice, and smears like he did to hurt a community organization have more then legal conditions.

Wasn't it slander, since he meant to defame a group, was dishonest, and had the intent to do harm to them?

And the phone taping, there are many groups probably doing that, and at least he was exposed, but there needs to be justice, although not more or less then the crime he did.

The thing is, he was doing it to create a smear, so the problem actually comes from letting his type do what they do without justice for the smear on Acorn.

And I will say this, there will be justice.

13. You're surprised?
Of course they're going to whitewash this if you'll pardon the pun. They wouldn't want to do anything to tarnish this fine young man's future.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have such qualms if this "gentleman" was a man of color.

15. Your actions, young man, were unconscionable and extremely serious,
and I wish there was something I could do about it!

Now get out of my courtroom and stay out of trouble!

wtf.

p.s. I know I shouldn't go here, but STANWOOD DUVAL, JUNIOR? I'm sorry, but that's a legacy Republican moniker if I ever heard one!
