Another good day at the gulf. I slept late and hit the beach

around one in the afternoon. Caught a really nice snook, probably nine or ten pounds. I got a young gentleman on the beach to snap a few pics before I released the fish unharmed (snook are out of season). I hope BP doesn't kill the fish before he or she grows a few more inches and is too big to legally keep. I caught a nice eating size seatrout that is already eaten. I caught a good size bonnethead shark (7-8 pounds), I was going to put him back but a Florida old-timer schooled me on how to kill, clean and prepare it. It was delicious, very firm white meat, not fishy at all. My wife even liked it. I have more left for tomorrow.

Saw some dolphins as I usually do.

I switched bait stores, my regular guy made a remark about "King Obama" in connection with the oil geyser that made me think my money should go to someone who wasn't a jerk.

I wouldn't suggest anyone from BP vacation here-folks are really pissed.
