Anyone else think Rand Paul had the proverbial "deer in the headlights" look
with Rachel and with Wolf Blitzer?

This guy is floundering almost as much as Sarah Palin did.

1. I thought it was more of a frat-boy smirk
like 'I am better than you. Quit fucking bothering me with your idiot questions." kind of look.

2. I'm sure he is at home frantically leafing thru his copy of "Atlas Shrugged" for the answers.
What a loon. Hope the complete ridicule of the libertarians continues.

3. Rand likely is at ease speaking in front of audiences who already
agree with him on most things.

Against Rachel Maddow, he was definitely in over his head.

4. Any of the RWers who think they can "handle" Rachel end up schooled
and looking stupid.

5. They do. She does her homework and evidently they think they can
just breeze thru the interview.

She's too fast for them mentally and way better prepared on the issues.

12. Yep. That Rachel is just too intelligent and informed and insightful.
The sheer ruthlessness of that woman!

14. They're probably so used to bullying people for just about any
reason that they haven't quite processed her sexual orientation in with their objections to her politics, and Rachel can't be bullied because she's too smart, especially for Republicans!

Agree -- they're probably furious with her.

The Republicans never get to the part in the equation that it isn't Rachel Maddow's fault that Rand Paul is a racist throwback.

The Rand Paul interview was fair. She gave him more than one chance to walk back his position and clarify what he meant on the Civil Rights Act, and he flubbed it repeatedly.
