Please DU this BP oil catastrophe poll
This is from the Cumberland Times-News out of Maryland. The question is "Should offshore drilling be banned?" As of right now, the NOs are winning...

Poll is below the fold.

What was your answer?

14. That's just Cumberland, MD. It is a flaming red spot in an otherwise mostly blue state.
It is primarily a fading industrial city with low education and high unemployment. That's a perfect formula for right-wing politics to prevail.

7. My answer I guess would be What the FUCK??????
After seeing the results, that is.

Well, unfortunately, a lot of that oil is liable to come washing up the Eastern Seaboard directly to Maryland's coastline if the gusher isn't stopped soon, and the rest of the mess contained to some degree. Evidently it's now in the pipeline that will send it around the tip of Florida and northward. If it does, I wonder what Maryland's collective opinion will be by then.

:scared:

15. I voted no for the first
and yes for the second.

1.Would you attend a minor league baseball team's games in Cumberland?

No, too far to drive.

2 Has the novelty of interleague play in Major League Baseball worn off?

Yes, for me at least, never was big on baseball.

Didn't see one on drilling.
