Florida Pastor (Living Word Fellowship Church) arrested on drug charges

TAMPA - The longtime pastor of a Tampa church was arrested Sunday on drug charges.

David Brian Anton was arrested by officers with the Tampa Police Department just after 8 am in the parking lot of the Living Word Fellowship Church at 8216 N. 13th. St.


According to a TPD arrest report Anton, 70, is facing one count of cocaine possession, one count of possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a church and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anton and his wife Alice, who reside in Land O'Lakes, have been affiliated with the church since its inception in 1984. The congregation moved to its current location in 1992. Anton is being held on a bond of $17,500
