3. Replying to my own post with a P.S. - Hubby said last night that we

probably only have to put up with this putrid, malicious nonsense for about another decade, because nearly all people who want Jim Crow to come back are old - 65 or older. (Not all old people are racist, I'm not saying that, and yes, there are some young racists too, but by and large, that generation is the one in the South who had a lot of members who supported Jim Crow.)

Once enough of their racist ilk die off and they are faced with the fact that they truly ARE a small minority (and a hated one by most of us) they will hopefully shut up and crawl back into their holes.

Right now they are dangerous because they believe their own lies about how they surround us and are the majority and should be in power, etc.

I think my husband is right - I think ten years from now, we might be seeing a different picture than the one we are seeing now.
