OK DUers I have a great idea
We need to come up with ads against Rand Paul.
He wants to take his government back. On the other hand Obama gave Dems a great theme for the election campaign - ReTHUGS driving the country into a ditch and now begging for the keys to start driving again.

Using the driving analogy, lets see Rand Paul reverse the car and take the country back from government.

I'm not tech savvy enough but I'd have a rework of the Staple Singers I'll take you there" morphed into "I'll take you back" - 'Let me take you there' that's my background music -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXvKRZRofDE

then I'll add the clip of Rand 'taking government back' from Primary election night and before and after clips showing the role of government - no seat belts, pre-civil and gender rights, and clips every other progressive legislation of the past 60 years. I'll have a voice say this is what Rand Paul's taking back government means - reversing years of progress.

I'll end with the Obama clip about them driving us into a ditch and include a clip of a crash into a ditch (without seatbelts), a clip of a crash with the driver drunk, etc., etc.

I would show those ads starting in July.
Keep these lunatics off the road.

Let me hear your ideas.
