As for the cached version you mentioned in your other post, it's not there only until Rand Paul's people get at it. As a general rule, all prior versions of all Wikipedia articles are permanently available for public view, so the reader can see what was added when and by whom. (If you see something strange like this, check the recent history. If the addition is new, it's more likely to be bogus.) In exceptional cases, an admin can remove an old version from the history. This is usually done only for serious issues like copyright violation.

BTW, if anyone has any ideas about substantive improvements to the article, go ahead and make them. If you need any help figuring out Wiki markup or Wikipedia's editing standards, feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to help you. If in doubt, though, follow the Wikipedia axiom of (That means that it's OK if you don't do everything perfectly. Someone else can fix it.)

We desperately need more progressives editing Wikipedia. Right-wingers are constantly deleting well-sourced information that contradicts their propaganda, as well as adding rubbish from World Nut Daily and the like.
