(OR: "Where did Rand's 'tea partiers' learn their history from anyway, from the Texas Board of Education?")

(These irony-impaired teabaggers don't even recognize the spectacle they create when kissing the ass of BP, the British East India Company, and any other corporate-logo'd gangsters)

...Parliament responded in 1774 with the Coercive Acts, which, among other provisions, closed Boston's commerce until the British East India Company had been repaid for the destroyed tea. Colonists in turn responded to the Coercive Acts with additional acts of protest, and by convening the First Continental Congress, which petitioned the British monarch for repeal of the acts and coordinated colonial resistance to them. The crisis escalated, and the American Revolutionary War began near Boston in 1775...

2. It might be nice to link to whatever comment it is that
led you to write this rather uninformative OP. For those of us who don't spend all our time following the antics of the Right.

Thanks.

:hi:

6. Thank you.
I'm still mystified how anyone with a cerebrum can listen to that dolt for 10 seconds without pegging him as a really bad con-man.
