what would you call a social system
that justifies violations of your privacy because you might have committed a crime or might commit a crime in the future

that justifies electric shock as standard operating procedure, even in the case of pregnant women and children, by police

that allows criminals with money to go free while those without resources to wallow in jail for the same or lesser crimes?

I certainly wouldn't call it democracy. I certainly wouldn't call it a system that values constitutional rights.

1. Police State?
It's pretty familiar to what I remember about the Soviet Union and what immigrant refugees that I met who told me what it was like to live in East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and other countries that were Soviet Bloc Countries

4. Nixon called it law and order when he was in office which started the police state
mentality of the right wing who then wanted more police protection from boogie men after they saw how it worked for those that disagreed with them.

6. argentina kicked out the imf
they seem to be doing better since they got rid of the neo-liberals and the American-backed dictators that threw dissidents out of airplanes (while still alive) over the ocean.

how bad do things have to get here, I wonder.
