If Jindal were a Dem every time he got near a camera first question would be ...
... "Do you still support offshore drilling as you have so stridently done for your entire political career Governor Jindal?"

That is the kind of questions that would be asked of any Democratic governor who supported the kind of stuff that got us into the mess we are in.

The media wouldn't care about any fouled beeches or dead birds. They would want to know if his previous position which had a hand in causing this disaster to begin with has changed.

I am not falling for this Jindal is "taking charge", line of crap.

This, after they didn't want booms...

And jurisdiction may not end with the feds: "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric reported that the mayor of Grand Isle, La., objected to the Coast Guard, saying they did not want oil containment booms used around the beach because it would be "unsightly" for beachgoers. Rear Admiral Mary Landry told Couric that they have to respect the wishes of local leaders.
