The Fed is fighting this with everything they have per Salazar and Napolitano. Will keep the boot heel on BP's neck.

Governor J. also spoke saying what they are doing and asking for more booms to fight the spill farther out from the marshes. The afflicted marshes could die in 7 days.

I know there's nothing funny about any of this. But Sen. Landrieu just misspoke. She said that BP must shut down the well "at the earliest convenience". She immediately corrected herself. But coming from her, I thought I'd pass it along.

Oddly enough, I thought Governor J. was quite forceful. Sure, he was covering his butt. But no matter, I will give him some props for what he said unless someone proves what he said to be incorrect. I'm not a fan of his but he did well, imo. He's asking for the land boom and they surely need it.
