IMO - BP is going to make it look like they're doing all they can but the Top Kill thing is too risky to go through with... it's a distraction from the long wait for a relief well.

Earlier, the Cabinet Secretaries came off as politburo apparatchiks! "We're mad, we're upset too, we're doing everything we can, bad BP, they're going to pay, we're on top of this -just trust us"!!!!! Why the hell, after Salazar read "HIS REMARKS", did he say "now let me add my own"?? And does he think he's being butch nasally dropping "boots on their necks" every other sentence? Clearly Napolitano's tired, but shouldn't she at least have had a speech written for her, rather than winging it?? That earlier Conference left the same frakking taste as Dukakis answering the Rape Question!! (It also just guaranteed Jindal's reelection! And FINALLY the White House answered the question about building sand barriers!)

Obama campaigned masterfully, but his administration is utterly frakking hopeless at handling, responding, or foreseeing common sense appearances obvious even to jr high debaters, much less controlling the discussion.
