LEVIN, LIEBERMAN, MURRAY ASK WHITE HOUSE FOR "OFFICIAL VIEW" ON DADT
Edited on Mon May-24-10 06:55 PM by Bluebear
The three key lawmakers pushing for the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell have asked the White House to weigh in on their proposal. This should result in an official statement from the Obama administration. Votes were going to occur later this week on the House floor and in the Senate Armed Services Committee anyway.

2. Yes, it mentions he is one of the ones pushing for repeal.
As much as I can't stand him he has been a leader on this issue.

4. He has a lot to make up for and
he also knows this is his last term, so we will see the real Lieberman, both the good and the bad.

5. Yes. Repealing DADT is SUCH a BIG issue with Lieberman...
..that he campaigned for McCain and the Republicans!
Complexity of character?
I don't think so.
Self-Centerdness, Arrogance, and Moral Duplicity to the point of Treachery is more accurate.

7. Oh...My bad.
Didn't really mean to respond to you directly.

I got to the bottom of the thread and hit the "Fuck a bunch of Joe Liebermans" button.
It will take more than public posturing as a hero of Gay Rights to redeem that bastard.

:patriot:
