Yep, it's all about the BlackBerries.
This is MOTHER LODE of evidence we need to convict and imprison these criminals. That is why they are fighting with bloody swords and bayonets to stop Waxman, Conyers and Leahy.

White House political adviser Karl Rove uses his wireless e-mail device while accompanying President Bush, not pictured, in Long Beach, Miss., in this March 1 (2007) file photo. A House committee has sent a memo to federal agencies dictating how they should conduct a wide search for e-mails involving political appointees, White House adviser Karl Rove and other aides.

Election night 2004: Rove and Susan Ralston *working Karl's math.* My, my, also look at all the busy BlackBerries.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush's official portrait depicts him standing between a tall leather chair and a bookcase that holds a picture of his family, nestled beside his trusty BlackBerry. The former governor, brother of U.S. President George W. Bush, requested the device be included in the painting as a nod to his self-described status as the "e-governor," known for personally responding to hundreds of constituent e-mails and freely giving out his e-mail address.

Now, how long will it be before we tie in old Jeb to this... Anticipation is getting to me.

2. BBs
BBs are not separeate email accounts. They're almost always tied into the main email address of the user. It's the same server, though it travels through an additional space.

4. Unless they are using an individual Blackberry server
all their junk had to go through whomever their service is with (Nextel, Verison, etc), as well as (I think) RIM servers.

There is how to get the junk, since they have to keep records to comply with the Patriot Act or some such DHS Terrorist records and/or domestic spying nonsensical rule that could very well bite them in the ass on this? It would be the ultimate irony

7. Research in Motion was tight-lipped about why Blackberry service
went down for a few hours last month. I'm sure it was all innocent, though.

Right?

a connection between RIM and Republican donors (like the SmarTech connection), but no luck so far.

One they can't talk about. It wouldn't be like we haven't heard that one before.

17. RIM is a Canadian company...
headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario. They state right in their corporate philanthropy section that they don't make contributions to political parties or advocacy groups.

Their head honcho, Jim Balsillie, was going to buy the Pittsburgh Penguins last year, but the NHL started adding too many conditions to the sale. Being Canadian, I don't think he's eligible to make donations to American politicians.

14. Thumb callouses should be considered evidence
Edited on Tue May-08-07 11:19 PM by Canuckistanian
So should pictures of people walking around with their heads down, oblivious to traffic, reporters, passersby and small animals.

AND, may I add, to my shame, that Blackberries were invented in Canada, by Canadians.

We never intended them to be used for evil.
