I think that the synergistic impact on the people of LA is not being fully recognized by some.
They basically had a non-response during Katrina. This means that any appearance of arrogance or a lack of urgency on the part of the current administration during this crisis will put a lot of people over the edge, and rightfully so.

Perception DOES play a major role in a crisis, especially when your very life and livelihood is hanging in the balance.

1. Would some kind soul please Rec this to undo the damage I did inadvertantly?
#(@)@#@#% tremor in my hand is messing with fine motor skills. Tried to Rec this and had a tremor right then. Hand slipped and did the wrong button.

The people of LA are really taking point for all America. We are used, abused, and soon, like the folks in LA who did nothing to deserve such punishment, we too will be underwater, under sludge, under the heal of the powers that rule the politicians who provide so much theater while the nation falls apart.

4. Agreed. I have been wondering about emotional trauma to those
who have are will lose everything because of this spill. Are there counselors, etc set up to help with the emotional side effects of this disaster?
