She seems to be a great influence on both the nutrition and exercise front. I'm loving that.

4. she has taken flak for this issue but I believe she is right on
"back in the day" when I was a kid, no one had to make kids get active - but times have changed and Michelle is taking the lead to ensure child fitness is not left in the dust - good for her

9. Have we EVER had a 1st Lady like her?
Oh my Goddess. And you just know she thinks she's SO damn lucky to be able to play and move like this all the time...and call it work! Wouldn't you die to be one of those kids who got to play with Michelle Obama? Beautiful; smart; compassionate; authentic. Do you suppose Barack thinks himself the luckiest man on earth? Truly, a goddess in our time!

12. Of course --
each (and others) wonderful in their own way. But it sounds like you agree: she is one-of-a-kind in her youthfulness, inspiration to the young especially, authenticity, durability (don't know why I came up with this adjective? :) ).

She is the first woman - I know this is crazy or wrong - where I have just really had this strong feeling of her being a role model for me. And I'm older than her! "WWMD" :grouphug:
