Let's Say BP Is Successful With This 'Top Kill' - How Will MSM & Obama React...... |
|
Edited on Wed May-26-10 12:55 AM by global1
will they hail BP as hero's for stopping the gusher? Will they thank BP for stopping the gusher?
I'm just thinking ahead. My opinion - BP was negligent and criminal to begin with. Eleven men died because BP cut corners. I will be happy that this gusher would be stopped and further destruction to the Gulf will be minimized - but - I cannot forgive BP for the negligence; their criminality and the destruction that they've caused to our environment since the explosion. It really starts well before that in their total disregard for regulations and their arrogance.
I only hope that the MSM and Obama will not let them off the hook or hail them as hero's for stopping the gusher. They should hold BP's feet to the fire.

People will be dealing with the muck on the shores for months to years. If BP gets a good day in the news, the next day reality may pop through.

4. Obama should hail his own damn self as the hero for being patient... |
|
And he should tell everyone who has been LYING about the overwhelming response effort to go get fucked.

10. In this thing, there are no heroes but those individuals who figure out how to stop it. |
|
I don't care if they work for BP or the US Government, those individuals who engineer a stop to this, where no one else could, should be considered heroes.
If LeBron James or Michael Jordan or Big Papi or Wayne Gretzky could be considered "heroes", so could those who stopped the oil spewing into the gulf.

That would amaze me.
No one will ever think BP is a hero.
At best, they've finally got their shit together.
Nothing heroic about that.

12. They will be welcomed as heroes instead of the cockroaches that they are. |
|
But I still hope they figure it out. And I hope that we never let this turn into a hero story.
