One trait of every Libertarian I have ever known is that they're convinced, beyond a doubt, that they are far more intelligent than non-Libertarians.

The AynRandians call themselves "Objectivists," and they believe that they have a superior command of logic and reason that has led them to their ideology (they wouldn't call it that--it's simply the "objective truth.")

It's part and parcel of the belief they all harbor that, if we had an actual Libertarian Utopia, they would naturally be the ubermenchen, the folks who would lead all the peons and keep society running.
