Specter Introduces Sestak to Senate Democrats


Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA) "made a magnanimous gesture" to Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA), "the man who defeated him in last week's Democratic Senate primary in Pennsylvania," according to the New York Times.

Specter introduced his recent foe to Senate Democrats at their weekly lunch.

"A visit to the Senate lunch is a political rite for candidates but Democrats would not have welcomed Mr. Sestak previously since he was taking on one of their own. That's all water under the bridge now."
