The 16-year-old is considered the primary aggressor in the fight, Barnett said, and the 17-year-old tried to "deescalate everything."

After the 16-year-old laid his hands on the other student, faculty and students attempted to pull them apart, he said. As they were being pulled apart, the 16-year-old fell and hit his head on the floor, Barnett said.

1. Is there a racial angle to it, other than one student was African American and one Korean?

The story doesn't seem to indicate that was the reason for the fight.
