1. You know, his wife is also going off script a bit and demanding big government help
So maybe that miserable couple is just really speaking from their hearts, right or wrong, without some evil agenda.

I don't know. Probably not

4. You just have to be here to see it for yourself.
I was in Venice, LA today and did not see nary a soul, except people leaving the Halliburton and BP blds, and the Conoco plant.

Most boats were moored, big and small. Only one small pile of booms by Venice Marina, near Coast Guard Rd. Most helos on the ground. Just a few Military Hummers riding around.

Very depressing. :(

11. I am so sorry.
I have a friend who spent most of her vacations over the years since Katrina going down to New Orleans to help with whatever needed doing (and drink and eat great food) and she posted pictures so I got to see the work and the changes and now......I wish I could wish the awfulness away.

6. What a joke. I see the misery in their posture while they stand next to each other
They probably only married each other because they were the only two people on earth who could listen to the other's senseless rambling 24/7. Please tell me they don't have children.

2. Watching a repeat of Joy Behar and she has a couple of guys on
who mentioned that Carville was a Hillary supporter to the end and didn't care for Obama. Of course we know what Mary Matalin's agenda is. She worked for Dick Cheney and Halliburton is one of the companies at fault here, but she can't lay blame on any of them without being a turncoat to the people who grease her palm. So it's very convenient for her to blame Obama.

12. The fact that BP screwed up on this well doesn't mean that other drilling isn't being done safely
