Somebody at AP is either a liar or just very sloppy..
Quote from todays story about Obama's visit..

Obama arrived 38 days into the disaster, as BP worked to plug the leak with heavy mud. That procedure is expected to continue for a couple days before its outcome is clear.

This ( to me ) implies it is his 1st visit since the well blew up.. and he was down there a couple weeks ago..

2. This part is just as bad:

"Obama, interrupting a Memorial Day weekend trip to his Chicago home..."

Implies that he's taking off on a vacation, and is reluctantly being inconvenienced by the side trip.

5. And the first line, by the writer, Darlene Superville
Edited on Fri May-28-10 12:21 PM by sketchy
"Intent on showing firm command of the deepening Gulf Coast crisis, President Barack Obama flew to Louisiana Friday and personally inspected a beach jeopardized by America's largest-ever oil spill."

Well, thanks for letting us know that what the president is "intent on showing" -- in your unasked-for opinion -- is such a fake and self-serving thing.

Who is Darlene Superville, anyway? A journalist, or a propagandist for the right?
