1. Terrific. This race will be hotly contested.

Both candidates are relatively young and are energetic, which are qualities which appeal to the electorate. Overall, Pennsylvania is socially conservative, and the Democrats will have to turn out in strong numbers to counteract the Repub voters. The independents will be the key. The horrid right-wing-nut TV ads will try to tie Sestack to Nancy Pelosi's allegedly dangerous agenda. Such an attempt (including despicable TV ads which were purchased without regulation by smear groups thanks to the Citizens United decision) recently backfired on the wing nuts when Mark Critz (D) prevailed over Tim Burns (R) in the PA-12 special congressional election.
