Rahm Emanuel. Will Obama ever get rid of the cancerous Iago in the WH?
With the revelation that Rahm asked Clinton to talk Sestak out of running against Spector, as well as the clear indication that an Obama endorsement or non-endorsement doesn't carry as much weight anymore, I'm wondering if time is up for the resident WH DLC DINO? There was that flurry of positive news reports about Rahm a couple of months ago, which were clearly planted by Rahm and his press lapdogs. So, will Rahm "the pestilence" go soon?

5. Because Rahm is NO FRIEND to progressive/liberal ideals or candidates.
BTW - Rahm thinks you are "retarded" for even being on this site or being part of the grassroots. That should be enough to piss you off.

6. You're misrepresenting WH staff, and endorsing shallow Republcan smears.
I'll stick with Rahm, thanks.

4. No one has any doubt about Rahm's history.
His reputation proceeds him, and he very much likes it that way.

go ahead. Hit me with a stick! STONE ME!!!!

Well, you can't, you can only throw words.

7. Really? Sestak primary, anyone? How about Mass election last year?
Rahm is not god, as much as he would like to think or intimidate others into thinking. His track record suck relative to true liberal/progressive leadership, like Howard Dean. Who, BTW, hates Rahm's guts, which is enough for me.

Why make distinctions among the largely right-leaning centrist White House?
Is Rahm any different than his boss?

12. Some of us do, others are either in denial or attempting to throw up DLC smokescreens.
New Democrat Obama wants DLC Rahm exactly where he is.

16. The difference is, as a self-proclaimed pragmatist, Obama can
FIRE Rahm when his bullshit gets the administration in deep shit - which it consistently does with Rahm's advice.

The only way Obama is going to see a second term is if he kicks the DLC fifth column to to curb. So, is he pragmatist enough to do that, or is he too much a New Democrat to think he needs to?

9. I doubt it but he should have blamed him for the Sestak crap and used it as a great excuse
to clear the deadweight. Same with Salazar, make him walk the plank for the BP gusher to get rid of him.

15. I suspect much of what I've disliked about Obama's actions originated with Rahm.
I wish he'd kick his ass out on the street. He's a liability, not an asset.

21. Rahm is merely Obama's enforcer
anything you don't like started with the boss - or maybe they cooked it up together. But I doubt if Rahm is doing anything Obama doesn't want him to do.

his friends' doesn't work with boyfriends and it doesn't work with presidents.

to rid the White House of the DLC cancer.

Expect Rahm to be around ... at least until Obama drowns in the Gulf of Mexico Disaster.
