In discussing how President Obama uses children to shield himself from criticism, I broke my own rule about leaving kids out of political debates. The children of public figures should be left on the sidelines. It was a stupid mistake and I apologize--and as a dad I should have known better.

In reality, Beck is a very smart businessman. He knows there's a bunch of crazy right-wing racists in the country, and he knows they'll support whomever is against the president. By support, I'm talking about listening and watching Beck's programs. More ratings=more cash, and buying his books. Beck made millions last year, 32 million. Beck is living in a mansion right now, while his followers are a bunch of stupid rednecks who are going against their own self-interests.

Beyond feeling what little remorse he might eke out for attacking Mr. Obama's daughter, he could feel a little bit something for all the violent and seditious rhetoric he espouses on his show.

19. It's no secret that he has issues. The problem is whether FOX will send him on medical leave

to solve them.

But knowing their track record for absolute cruelty against groups of color, women, the LGBT community, the homeless and the downtrodden, FOX will let Beck spew his irresponsible tripe because of the ratings it produces. They don't care whether the man is unbalanced or not.

FOX and Beck do not care who they throw under the bus as long as it makes them money. :(

Glenn Beck has never been known for being tactful, but his four-minute tirade against Malia Obama this morning over her "Did you plug the hole yet, Daddy?" question about the BP oil leak represented a reprehensible new low. Audio inside.

Here's the audio of Beck's segment, during which he spoke in a baby voice as Malia, insinuated that she asks her father why he hates black people, and questioned her education level, among other things:

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy? Daddy? Daddy, did you plug the hole yet? Daddy? ....

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Not time yet, honey. Hasn't done enough damage.

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy? ....

GRAY: (imitating Obama) I'm part white, honey. ....


BECK: "Did you plug the hole yet, daddy?" Is that's their — that's the level of their education, that they're coming to — they're coming to daddy and saying 'Daddy, did you plug the hole yet?' " Plug the hole! ....

BECK (imitating Malia) Why, why, why, why, do you still let the polar bears die? Daddy, why do you still let Sarah Palin destroy the environment? Why are — Daddy, why don't you just put her in some sort of a camp?





Interestingly, this comes just two days after Beck demanded on air that his family be left alone.

Elegance is learned, Mr. Beck—and you have yet to enroll.

Thank you for posting this. It's really outrageous.

I can't believe there are actually people who listen and take direction from a grown man who could behave like this.

At best - AT BEST - that's behavior of a 12 year old mean-spirited kid.
