Did The White House Really Remove The American Flag During a Press Confrence Today?

Just got this email from my Obama hating brother. Politics is off limits and I feel like he is baiting me. I had not heard this and was curious if anyone else has. Here is his email to me.


"Do you have any idea why they removed the American Flag from the room at the White House where they do press conferences? This week was the first press conference ever that did not have the flag...that seems strange"

Thoughts? Think I'll just ignore his email,which he will see as a victory I am sure.

Only reason I started a thread is I want to know if it's true and what the facts are. Him and I have not discussed politics in months. He use to be a liberal and turned into a Tea Party Follower over night. I was thinking about ignoring him,but I wanted to know the facts and the whole story. In the video of the actual conference, the way the camera was angled and the closeups did not take in the flag because it was too far to the left. I guess next time they will have to drape it over his shoulders so those so pettily offended by bullshit won't get their knickers in a wad. Obama held his press conference against a wall that is cat-cornered to the exit/entrance to the Cross hall. The exit/entrance to the Cross Hall is where the flags live.
