4. Is that all the brands that are part of the corporation? I really don't know..but |
|
my Google maps direct me to stations labelled "Getty" in my area. Is Goggle confused or out of date?
If anybody knows, please post. I don't buy much gas, maybe 10 gallons a month, so I'm not going to make a big impact, but I would love to stay away from BP forever.

8. Yes, and the way the gasoline wholesale market works is |
|
that all gasoline that is refined is sold to someone, no matter what name appears at the pump.
I'm wondering if a boycott is effective, because if BP has an extra few million gallons of gasoline hanging around because of it, they just sell it wholesale to a no-name brand, or some small outfit, who mixes it with a delivery from somebody else's gas... so you never know.
In other words, all refined gasoline in the USA is in demand SOMEWHERE, and will be bought and used.

Castrol has been sponsoring John Force's Fuel Funny Car teams for about 25 years now. Force's operation is a nitro institution and drag racing would suffer with the loss of Force out there.

But to me it's always represented a waste of our valuable resources.
