"Limbaugh: Oil Spill Is Natural"
It is easy to forget that the same Republicans who are now asking why the federal government is doing more were attacking the federal government at the outset of the spill for threatening to do too much:

http://slatest.slate.com/id/2252681

Rush Limbaugh, the conservative radio host, has spent a lot of time talking about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico lately. First, he focused on the timing of the spill, claiming that it was maybe too convenient. He was suggesting that the spill, about 50 miles off the coast of Louisiana, was an inside job by environmentalists to convince President Obama to back down on plans to expand offshore drilling for oil and natural gas. Now, Limbaugh claims that the oil spill is natural, even though it started when a rig leased by BP and owned by TransOcean went up in flames and sank. "The ocean will take care of this on its own if it was left alone and left out there," he said. "It's natural. It's as natural as the ocean water is." The spill is currently pumping about 210,000 gallons of oil into the ocean every day and coastal states fear that, when the oil reaches shore, billions will have been wasted in beach restoration, and entire ecosystems will be compromised.

Correction: This piece originally stated that BP owned the rig. The rig was owned by TransOcean and leased by BP.

1. I like how the Republicans call it "Obama's Katrina" when they kept telling us that Bush did a heck
of a job on Katrina.

They will say anything, pretty much.

Most of the time it's a circle jerk with other morons calling in to agree with the pathetic points. However, occasionally they might allow someone who may be conservative but has some thinking abilities to call in to point out some of the logic error in their thoughts, and most these people are quickly cut off and their honest points/questions not addressed. It's infuriating. I hate being stuck somewhere where the stuff is playing. Not because of the ideas either. I mean, people are free to have whatever opinion/beliefs they want. I find the way they shutout dissenting opinion.

4. May a giant, limited blob of crude envelop his Palm Beach
house, but leave all others in the area untouched. Such is my wish for the giant, limited blob of crudeness that is Rush Limabaugh.

9. When this first happened I heard someone (not Limbaugh) say something similar on the radio...
I could not believe someone could be so ignorant. Never mind the 'little people' who rely on those waters for their livelihood.

15. Lessee, if someone were to stab Rush in the ass...
and he(gasp)bled...that would also be a 'natural spill' would it not? Same principle applies in both cases.

And they pay this guy millions a year? Wow!

16. I would love for Pigboy to say that to the faces
of the fishermen who are going to lose their fucking livelihoods because BP could not be FUCKING BOTHERED to put a safety valve on the rig.

See if there are any pieces of him left afterwards.

18. Marijuana and Shrooms are all natural too, and non toxic.
But funny how even the mere suggestion of having anything to do with those substances, even in the privacy of your own home, this gas bag would be frothing at the mouth demanding law enforcement pigs to crack heads and sentence you to the death penalty.
