A modest proposal for finally putting to good use the writings of woman who has aptly been described as "Nietzsche for stupid people."

1. "Nietzsche for stupid people." How perfect.
Can't see the page, because I won't do Facebook, so I can't log in, but it sounds funny as Hell.

18. I actually saw a "who is John Galt" bumbersticker yesterday.
First time in decades. Although, I did move to a "moderate" area from Seattle only two years ago so that could explain it.

4. Now that might have worked
when you consider the paper pulp expanding and eventually clogging the works. The real problem would be prying them out of the cold, dead hands of all the Randorrhoids out there in order to get them.

12. This is a sick thought but I got to express it.
Take some particular right wing entertainment talk show hosts and push them into the leak. Depending on the size of the particular participant, it might not take many of them to do it but not naming names... there's one guy I can think of that could plug that hole right up and not be missed by any of us on DU one bit. Just one single "entertainer".

But then again it is my thought. Must NEVER happen in action, unless of course they volunteer. I don't condone violence, I condemn it. I plead forgiveness for my thoughts but sorry I just came out with it.

15. I don't condone violence either
However I still think that the BP CEOs should be stuffed in the hole to plug it up. In a most gentle, non-violent way of course

22. That was my sick and dirty thought I'm afraid.
Beck's not big enough though.

Really, I shouldn't be thinking this ill but seriously... maybe it won't work, cos these guys are so full of hot air they won't be able to plug up the hole, they'll just float to the surface - maybe they wear extra heavy shoes to keep them on the ground. Of course all in theory, I'd never want to see any human stuck that far below ground to plug up a hole.

humans have compassion for others

humans care even for people they don't know

24. Ok... replace humans in my post with Homo Sapiens.
A Homo Sapien does not a human make. It's more than just being a particular species.

I'm with you there...

30. Problem is...
...Nietzsche was quite brilliant. Of course his works can only really be appreciated when read in the original Klingon!
