She is comparing the oil disaster to the coal mining accident, and other ludicrous comparisons. She is a hoodlum who doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about. Imagine: even now, the oil is spilling out into the Gulf, and there doesn't seem to be any end to it. I think if she is at all aware, she should be put in jail for lying.

Maybe she DOES know, and she's just a tool, but I got so angry watching her, I turned it off before the end.

and yeah, she's the head of the parish I guess. But she's obviously trying to pander to the pukes, demanding that oil continue to bubble up from the innards of planet earth, so that rich repukes will continue to support her and stuff more of the green into her pocket. And no, we're not talking about the good green, just the stuff that makes people more evil than they could ever really be.
