Very important to keep it out there in the public to raise awareness. The oil company employees don't take it seriously unless the COMPANIES take it seriously. And it's pretty obvious they don't give a shit.

4. BP AND the government.

There's no specialized expertise that BP has which is preventing the government from overseeing or flat out performing that portion of the operations. If there is a failure to place booms properly, where does that buck stop?

5. First I'd fine BP about a million dollars a day

for not knowing how to properly utilize a boom and then have the Coast Guard take over that aspect of operations.
