5. The Damn Company went Capitalist on US...went for CHEAP..= More profits/bonuses

Aided by looser regs from lobby efforts, they decided to save by not expending on prudent safety devices.

They even ignored the odds of major spillage and not developed first responder systems for runaway wells..

they knowingly went for them higher profits/bonuses....

Mud mats won't do a thing at 5k' other than look good for the cameras.

If they do open up the BOP, I hope they show it. It will be nasty (nastier than current views), but will afford those in the know the opportunity to gauge their progress independently.
