As a Vietnam veteran, I would like to wish you all (ya'll?) a happy Memorial Day.
If you've been in the military you know what our soldiers go through. Over the last ten years, stop-loss and multiple deployments to the sandbox have been the order of the day.
I went to Vietnam only twice - some of you have been to the sandbox two, three, four or more times.
I will resist the urge to draws parallels between Vietnam and the current occupations.
Anyway, welcome home!
