David Brooks just got it right,
We were happy to have elected someone who is cool in a crisis, and now we complain that he's cool in a crisis.

7. He actually likes the President
I heard him speak a couple of years ago and David Brooks spoke very highly of President Obama. I am sure that he does not agree with all his positions or policies (I don't either) but he does respect him as an individual.

3. See how we ended with Bush having a +90 percent approval rating now?
This country is basically mostly made up of idiots.

5. Washington D.C. (including the media) attracts hysterical people
and they demand that everybody else act hysterical like them.

6. That's the reason I listened to my last Randi Rhodes show over a week ago.
I can't believe that "substantive" people need to see theatrics and stagecraft, from this president. Progressive radio now officially sucks, and unintelligent bloggers rule the universe. It only takes one idiot to suggest that the prez seems aloof, and that becomes the meme that spreads through the liberal blogosphere, like wildfire. It's both amazing and disappointing, all at once.
