shorelines - rich people may finally be interested in environment |
|
and fix this oil crap - they think they own the beaches and so many are republicans and against government spending - here they have to eat their words although some are still stupid and want the oil drilling to continue - they are so ignorant - we should have had something else by now - back in the 70's this was news and they blocked and bought off congress to fight alternative sources and called it the hippies and tree huggers - now we are in this mess because of all of them

1. I thought Ted Kennedy really lost it by opposing wind farms off the cape. |

he was precisely the person that could have gotten it done.
On PBS tonight they profiled a Danish island that is totally self sufficient because of their wind farms.

2. Mansions on Casey Key in Florida |
|
My MIL and her new husband took us past the mansions on Casey Key the last time we were down in Florida. Oprah has a "little shack" down there, as well as a lot of other celebs and filthy rich people. His son, who owns a horse stable, had a small place that he sold for about $10M a few years back. It wasn't even on the beach, but on the bay side of Casey. My prediction is that, as soon as those tar balls wash up on Oprah's beach, she'll get right on the Blackberry to Barack and they'll have the National Guard out there right quick to clean it up.
