Tomorrow's California Primary-- DWT Endorsements

Looks like that whole teabagger thing-- at least in California-- was just something the mass media drummed up to sell some advertising. Every teabagger is losing every GOP primary from the Oregon border to San Diego. And there are tons of teabaggers running in congressional races, even highly targeted ones like the vitriolic campaign against shameless corporate hack Mary Bono Mack., likely to be defeated in November by Palm Springs Democratic mayor Steve Poignet. And even thunderously touted DeMint Republican Chuck DeVore is coming in a distant third against a high-spending failed corporate executive and an odd-ball. The teabagger preferred candidate for governor is similarly nowhere, despite having spent millions of dollars of his own fortune in his pitiful race against another failed corporate executive, one he should have had on the defensive about why she was never indicted. So today's endorsements aren't about Republicans. There aren't any good ones-- other than the hopeless gubernatorial odd ball I referred to above-- and we'd all be better off if they all got in a big gun fight and shot each other.

1. The Gifts Start Giving...
So what's a teabagger to do when their "great white hopes" don't make it into the general election. Do they show up and vote for the "RINO"? Or will they vote for a third party? Or just stay home? I'd like to watch turnout tonight in these races and see how well they measure to what happens in November.

Inversely, how many "regular rushpublicans" in Kentucky are going to fall all over themselves to vote for Paulbot Jr.? Ya think that Pruneface McChinless is gonna try to help elect someone who could end up voting against him for leadership? Ya think we'll see a photo op of Rand Paul and Ron Steele anytime soon?

I'm quitely hoping Oily Taterz wins her primary and adds some much needed amusement to the party.

2. That's too bad.
The Dems would have a much better chamce to hold (and possibly gain) seats in the November general election against a whole slate of extremist 'baggers.

Ah, well.

4. Like a cheap tea bag, they have no staying power.
One dunk, and they are through, and they won't be back to support the regular GOoPers.

EIther way, this is good news for us. Unless we get Blanched by some DINOsaurs.

3. The baggers are being spurned by their own "parents" - the GOP
They created these loonies, and now they disown them. How ironic.

5. I think this is a win/win for Dems
Tea Party candidates won't get much of a vote from the republican base, and republican base candidates won't get much of a vote from the teabagger set. They're fucked as long as there's no big screw ups on the democratic side. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

7. I'm pulling for the teabagger in my district's GOP primary
primarily because her opponent is the wife of a billionaire hedge fund manager and the teabagger does not have the deep pockets Mrs. Hedge Fund does.

However Frank Pallone's got my vote today and in the general

8. They lost in last week's primaries too
Didn't see much in the MSM. The race I watched in NM was lost badly by the tea bagger. I believe he only ended up with 23% of the vote.
