6. I would be nice if the government
would come out with all the tainted foods. I don't see that happening though.

14. Don't forget the tainted fish as well. FDA won't let pregnant agents near Melamine etc. but it's OK
for the rest of us including pregnant women to eat the tainted pork, fish and chickens!

7.  I started making my own dog food over two months ago, and I 'm glad!
U still mix a little dry dog food with it, but so far, I haven't heard of any major recalls of the dry food except for two specialty brands.

I think it's pure greed that caused all this, wether it be the chinese suppliers or the Am manufacturers, and I suspect it's going to be a very long time before they recover from the devastation of all these recalls. Some may NEVER recover, and I say TS! You all tried to scrape every damn penny our of the consumer that you could, and it's come back to bite you in the a**. You damn deserve it!

10. As far as I know, all the chikens they found that have eaten this
scrap dog food have been quarantened. I don't know what thye're doing about the salmon.

Last I heard, the scientists have determinedf that since humans are much larger than cats, the result of ingesting this product would be minim,al if any at all since the amount of melamine is so small.

I'm not saying we shouldn't hold the FDA accuntable, just that I don't think it's panic time....yet.

12. Yes, it would be a big mistake
to trust any part of our government at this time. That being said, they have us over a barrel because they are not telling us all they know. Buying groceries in this day and age is a crap shoot.:banghead:

13. OK, I read it. I also heard that the melamine concentration certainly caused serious
problems in the pet food, but since humans are much heavier in body mass than dats and most dogs, the risk is minimal. I don't want to be eating my grandmother's old plastic platesw either, but I think the risk right now is minimal.

If I'm wrong, I'll leave a message for my husband to let you all know I croaked!
