Let's end the evolution "debate" here. I explain evolution, you point out the fault.

1. Why haven't alligators evolved thumbs?

2. "Random mutation" so if my Ranch style house gets hit by an asteroid, there's a good chance that it will be mutated into an English Tudor, right?

1. Gators don't need thumbs to survive. They evolved powerful jaws and big teeth to help them survive.

2. Random mutations 99.9 percent of the time tend to be very bad, but the .1 percent of the time it may offer an advantage above others that don't have the mutation. A good example is a cockroach that has a mutation that allowed it to survive a spraying of Raid.

Instead of thumbs, I wish alligators would mutate into flying creatures. Could you imagine alligators with wings? Oh......then they'd be quite similar to a pterodactyl, wouldn't they?
