1. Jindal Lied big time...

so of course he is taking action to hide it. Jindal blamed the feds for not providing booms, etc. even though the feds approved every one of his requests. He is playing politics with this disaster. Shameful!

In his case, to answer your question, the idiocy apparently goes bone-deep.

But we can take heart in the probability that these kinds of positions taken by GOP pols in the Gulf states and elsewhere won't be easily forgotten THIS TIME. With what they've gotten away with in the past, it truly has seemed like Bizarro World. But I think their Teflon is finally wearing thin. We're not the only ones who will be able to see them for what they are. This will come back to haunt Jindal, big-time.
