Talk Left: DC Madam Banned From Releasing More Names
http://www.talkleft.com/story/2007/5/10/204340/148

A federal judge has stepped in and granted a restraining order against D.C. Madam Deborah Jeane Palfry prohibiting her from releasing more of her client records, saying the release was a form of witness intimidation.

Related somewhat: Norway is going to follow Sweden's policy of keeping prostitution legal, but criminalizing purchasing sex services, and then prosecuting the Johns.

3. I hope she had given copies to someone she could trust
with instructions that if she is banned from releasing that the trusted one would then have rights to release.

About halfway down the page. Date of May 8.

edit to add excerpt:
"WMR has confirmed with extremely knowledgeable CIA and Pentagon sources that the former CEO who is on Deborah Jeane Palfrey's list is Vice President Dick Cheney. Cheney was CEO of Halliburton during the time of his liaisons with the Pamela Martin & Associates escort firm. Palfrey's phone invoices extend back to 1996 and include calls to and from Cheney. Ironically, in 2000 Cheney was appointed by Bush to head his Vice President selection committee, a task that enabled Cheney to gather detailed personal files on a number of potential candidates, including Bill Frist, George Pataki, John Danforth, Fred Thompson, Chuck Hagel, John Kasich, Chris Cox, Frank Keating, Tom Ridge, Colin Powell, and Jim Gilmore, before he selected himself as the vice presidential candidate."

4. Does anybody really think that Cheney used those highly personal
"VP" files on those guys to vet them for the position? Or did he use them to get career-compromising dirt on them, in case they ever got uppity?

5. PROTECT THE REPIGLICANS!!!!!!!!!
It sure is fortunate for them that they have all these obstructionist judges in place to protect their sorry asses from all the criminal shenanigans they are always involved in.

6. Palfrey's statement aimed at Ullman last week was meant to intimidate.
Harlan Ullman says he is prepared to testify against Palfrey.
She said that he will implicate himself if he does. The gag
order is appropriate, even if it spares some of her clients
from grief. Like it or not, Judge Kessler is doing her job.
