2. If it hadn't been for Wexler, Waters and Conyers the entire

hearing would have been worthless. The repukes have their people peddling "other" issues for gonzo to address. Gonzo said zip and his repuke henchmen just helped him make it through the hearing until time ran out. It was disgusting. Thank goodness, Conyers is tenacious. As I replied in another thread, gonzo was thumbing his nose at the process of truth seeking. As for the press, I would have to assume they didn't watch the hearings or they're in complete collusion with the administration.
