Woman sick after eating tainted pet food
An Ottawa woman is recovering after becoming violently ill after eating some of her dog's food, in a case likely related to the tainted pet food that has killed several dogs and cats and sickened dozens more across North America.

In this case, a canine and its master wound up in hospital - Missy at the Alta Vista Animal Hospital and Elaine Larabie at an after-hours emergency room.

1. Impressive effort linking together tons of unrelated issues.

There's one thing you should be angry about - the FDA's investigators getting to the factories in China where the melamine contamination supposedly happened to find them boarded up, closed, all machinery dismantled and moved out. That is directly related, and that is an insult to the United States by China.

But your insinuating that China's importing Ebola-infected pig meat into the US isn't very factually supported. It's not what I would call a scientific method. (Edited out a less kind way of putting that - I'm not trying to carry water for the China government. Not one bit.)

The dying pigs are selling for dirt cheap in china right now.Tell me what greedy dirty psychopath businessman in the US looking for cheapo pork would refuse an insane cheep deal on some questionable pork? The businessman looking for cheap pork has little to fear if the FDA is already saying it's all ok to eat pork in advance of even knowing what the hell is making the pigs sick,and the situation with the pigs have killed some people in china? How long will some people be eating pigs from china and get sick before the FDA will admit chinese pigs are sick and could make us sick.How long does it take for the FDA to say ANYTHING is dangerous? Voluntary recalls my ass. We do import pork from two provinces in China.We export it too.Can you tell if a pig came from china from a US pig when it's cut into pork chops in a supermarket?

Check your sources for 'Lop chong' and other chinese-style pork sausages. Most of my stores get it from Taiwan, vietnam or thailand, but keep an eye out. Hate to say it, when eating in chinese restaurants, I would bypass fried rice and a few other sausage-based dishes in chinese (thai and vietnamese don't use the sausage as much...) cuisine. Otherwise, as long as they aren't mislabeling American piggies, we should be OK.

edit to say: This sucks. Chinese sausages are one of the tastiest things around.

Double edit: Don't count out the asian stores completely. They sell non GMO rice. Mostly from Thailand, in my experience. About 25 dollars for a 25-pound bag. Happy hunting.

They don't care who suffers and dies, but they wanna control the women's bodies so warnings go out to pregnant women, to save fetuses and fuck everyone else..The fetus must be protected even if it violates a womans body or privacy until the fetuses are born of course, than they are up a creek if their momma can't take care of them. because she works all day and can't get daycare and government services are cut because a CEO might not be able to get a third yacht without that fat tax cut... All the already born people are expendable to these greedy assholes it seems.
