19. CBS Is Making People Boycott CBS

Reports are that Katie's on life support and Shieffer is warming up in the bullpen. The "Tiffany Network" barely beats Telemundo and Home Shopping these days. It's a shame to have seen the slow destruction of what was once the best journalism shop ever.

Think what you will of what General Baptiste did as a commander, but I admire the man for at least coming forward at this time and putting his face forward and helping make VoteVets into a serious voice for the military opposition to thsi invasion. He's a much needed bridge between "our world" and that of the military and to demonstrate our concern is with the troops and our opposition is to the politicians who have created this clusterfuck.

Again, CBS blows a great opportunity. I expect General Baptiste will now be free to appear on a variety of networks as well as doing speaking tours that his CBS agreement didn't permit him to do.
